Creative Friday – Caught on Canvas {bespoke canvas design}

Hellooooo. I’m sick. Cough. Splutter. Sniff. I’ve been laid up in bed all week with a stinking cold and I am feeling mighty sorry for myself. Please send chocolate.

But enough of me, let’s talk about the creative people.

I want to feature a real mixture of people for Creative Friday from artists to photographers to businesses that provide something unique.

Today’s post features new business Caught on Canvas. They design bespoke canvases featuring a collages of photos from an event, wedding or just marking a special occasion.

Check out their blog as they’re also running a little competition where a lucky couple can win a free canvas, which can be created after your wedding/event.

Over to Mario to tell us a little bit about Caught on Canvas.

Caught-On-Canvas creates bespoke photography canvas designs, specialising in multiple images and image manipulation, if you can dream it, we can design it. Wedding gifts, anniversary gifts or just because…

I started the company as I had an idea for a Xmas gift for my wife and after searching the net, I couldn’t find anyone who could do it, so I created it myself. I then created a 50th birthday canvas for my best friend.

I am a designer/typographer by day and I’m influenced by typography, typefaces have always flipped my switch and I collect them whenever I can… it’s a bit sad, I know!

I’m driven by the desire to learn. I’m always trying to learn a new skill.

If Caught-On-Canvas is successful on line, I’d like to open a shop which will be a gallery for local artists
to display their work. It would have a coffee shop so people can come in for coffee and cakes and just relax.

My work in five words: variety, the spice of life.

Thanks, Mario. Best of luck with your new business venture. If you’d like me to feature your creative business get in touch through my website.
