Creative Friday – Photos by Jessica {Photographer}

Happy Friday everyone. It’s Friday and that means I hand over to another creative person so that they can tell you a bit about their work.

Today’s Creative Friday features the work of Jessica Roberts, the lady behind Photos by Jessica. Here’s what she had to say.

I’m a wedding and lifestyle portrait photographer and I live in Suffolk with my 2 year old and my husband.

I got married last May and it was such an amazing day! I’m due to give birth to my second baby on the 28th of Feb and I’m currently trying to talk my husband into letting a photographer document the birth. I’ve also just recently been asked to photograph the birth of a client’s third child.

I capture moments that go on to tell a story. My photography is very relaxed and I love trying to capture things as they are naturally.

I’m not sure what initially inspired me to start taking photographs but I find photography perfectly suited to me and it really allows me to be creative in my own way. I think we all need to be creative in one way or another. Most recently writing about what a fantastic year 2011 was for me, hugely inspired me. I think my surroundings and those around me influence me the most!

I am driven by my aim to not only have a hugely successful business but also to be doing one of the things I love most in the world. Within the next 5 years I plan to establish myself further as an international wedding photographer.

My work summed up in five words: Natural, real, personal, Me, happy

Thanks so much for sharing with us today, Jessica.

If you would like to have your creative business featured for Creative Friday, drop me a line. Pop back next week when I’ll be featuring the work of a beautiful painter and illustrator.
