Dewsall Court Wedding Photography – Louisa and Richard
I don’t have favourites when it comes to the weddings I photograph but if I had to pick a top five from last year, Louisa and Richard’s day would be way up there.
I can’t put my finger on what I loved so much about it but the combination of the warmth of Louisa and Richard (along with their friends and family), the magical venue that is Dewsall Court, their two ceremonies – one with their closest family members and one in a yurt surrounded by the rest of their friends and family – and the log fires certainly had something to do with it. Throw in lots of lovely, thoughtful details and a conga line led by a brass band and you have a perfect kind of a day.
My only regret is that it was so muddy that we didn’t get to properly explore Dewsall Court’s gardens, when taking Louisa and Richard’s couples portraits. I’m hoping to get back to Dewsall Court for another wedding in the future and I think it really must be one of the UK’s loveliest venues.
Louisa and Richard also had a whole host of suppliers involved in making their day amazing. They included: wedding flowers by Love Lily, hair and makeup by Hilary’s Wedlocks, catering by A 2 Zest Events and entertainment by New York Brass Band.
Thanks so much to Louisa and Richard for choosing me to be their wedding photographer. I absolutely loved their wedding and it was wonderful to be a part of it.
